Specializing in cosmetic and plastic surgery, Dr. Manuel Gigena is passionate about helping his patients achieve their aesthetic goals and restore optimum health to their bodies using the support of his extensive medical training.
Dr. Gigena began his medical school education at Cordoba National University Medical School in Cordoba, Argentina, where he graduated in 1998. He began a General Surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, from 2002 to 2003 and then completed his residency from 2003 to 2007 at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
In 2007, Dr. Gigena’s training led him to Willamette Valley Medical Center in Oregon, where he worked as a Board Certified General Surgeon. After four years of working as a General Surgeon in the beautiful wine country of McMinnville, OR, he left to pursue his true passion of becoming a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Dr. Gigena completed a three-year residency Fellowship program in Plastics and Hand Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After completing his Fellowship, he worked as a Plastic Surgeon at Promedica Health Systems in Toledo, Ohio, from 2014 to 2016.
His love for the community of Willamette Valley brought him back to McMinnville in 2016 with his wife and four children, where he returned to work at the Willamette Valley Medical Center as a Plastic Surgeon before opening up his private practice in McMinnville where he served as the owner and expert plastic surgeon of MG Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Manuel Gigena is now practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona where he specializes in breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, facial surgeries and more.
